Precious Metal Vault runs in any modern browser - no installation required.

Browser requirements

For encryption, Edelmetall-Vault uses the Web Crypto API, which is available in all current browsers:

Precious metal vault is complete responsive and works on:

  • 💻 Desktop computer (Windows, macOS, Linux)
  • 📱 Smartphones (iOS, Android)
  • 📱 Tablets (iPad, Android tablets)

Internet connection

An active internet connection is required for:

  • Retrieve current precious metal prices
  • Saving and loading your Vault data
  • Login and authentication
💡 Tip:
For the fastest access, you can use Precious Metal Vault as a Install app on your home screen. More on this in the section Install app.

JavaScript required

JavaScript must be activated in your browser. The encryption and the entire interface are based on JavaScript.

How to check whether JavaScript is activated:

  1. Open the precious metal vault page
  2. If you see the login form, JavaScript is active
  3. If not, activate JavaScript in your browser settings
